  • The concept of culture as an “iceberg” 
  • Key facts about Poland: geography, regional structure, major cities and their business/economic profiles 
  • The most important moments in Polish history that shaped national identity, mindset, values and business attitudes 
  • Rules of society, norms and values – how to find your way among Poles? 
  • Relationships vs. tasks – how to build trust in private and professional life 

Module II

 Effective Collaboration & Communication with Polish People

  • Approach to time – punctual or more flexible? Expectations regarding deadlines, reliability and accountability 
  • What and how is communicated in Poland – how can I adapt my communication style? 
  • Communication style when working with Poles: directness, honesty, expectations for clarity and precision 
  • Approach to hierarchy in Poland 
  • Uncertainty avoidance – how it can influence cooperation? 
  • How are conflicts resolved in Poland? 
  • How to establish relationships and friendships (feedback, personal relationships, social meetings, informal contacts)
