    Module I

    Stress – introduction

    • What is stress and stress types – can it be a positive thing?
    • Root causes of stress – how can we divide them and which can we influence
    • Can technology influence stress? Were our grandparents less stressed? 
    • How to know that someone is stressed – main signals, how to recognize them and what is causing such reactions
    • Stress levels and how it can influence behaviours – short and long term stress
    • How people cope with stress – what are the most popular techniques
    • Mindfulness – how to relax your body and relax
    • Influence of physical activities on stress levels – how can we benefit from exercises and reduce stress levels 

    Module II

    Coping with stress

    • Self-Care – what are its elements. What are my self-care routines
    • Assertiveness and saying “no” – techniques to prevent excessive stress and burnout
    • Building resilience – long term investment in living less stressful life
    • Can positive thinking help with coping with stress? Positive Psychology basis
    • How to support others in managing stress – active listening, offering empathy and validation, providing practical assistance when needed.
    • Creating support groups – role of relationships with others in managing stress levels
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of stress management activities 
    • What is in it for me – creating individual plan for coping with stress ​​​
