The foundation of change management
- What is change and how do people think and feel about it?
- What are the phases of going through change – concept of 4 rooms of change.
- Typical attitudes towards change – how to recognize them and how to deal with them?
- What to do with emotional reactions to change?
- Communicating change – how to communicate to engage?
- Are all changes good? What if I don’t like the specific change
Module 2
Leading through a change
- The Elephant, The Rider and The Path as the metaphors of managing change.
- Resilience to change – how to recognize it and what to do with it?
- What are 6 stages of concern
- How to maintain change – little things make a big difference
- Case study – how to lead people through a change we are experiencing at the moment?
- What I will change to better lead others through change
Project flow
Diagnosis and prework
- in-take interview with the project sponsor
- diagnosis of participants’ needs (online questionnaire and calls)
- prework for participants (material to watch, read or listen to)
Virtual workshops
- training divided into 2 workshops, 3,5 hours each
- interactive working methods: discussions, chat, virtual board, questionnaires, videos, case studies, breakout rooms, external tools (Mentimeter, Miro, Funretro)
