    Module I

    Inclusive language awareness

    • Between a joke and a punch – What words / phrases make me feel bad? 
    • Concepts related to inclusive language and what do they translate to in conversations: identity, normality, discrimination and prejudices, promotion and affirmation actions, coming-out and the work environment
    • Basic principles of applying inclusive language to people with various needs- an overview of areas with guidelines
    • Why are „they” so sensitive, or why is it worth it to apply inclusive language?

    Module II

    Inclusive language in practise

    • What are microaggressions and how to understand them in the context of words that have meaning?
    • „It’s not funny to me” or how to react to microaggressions?
    • Inclusive language vs. hybrid work and the “virtual world” – how to avoid misunderstandings and “hate speech”?
    • Why all this “political correctness”, or how to make inclusive language authentic and needed? Practice with real-life cases
    • Summary – what am I going to apply in daily life?

    Project flow

    Diagnosis and prework
    • in-take interview with the project sponsor
    • diagnosis of participants’ needs (online questionnaire and calls)
    • prework for participants (material to watch, read or listen to)
    Virtual workshops
    • training divided into 2 workshops, 3,5 hours each
    • interactive working methods: discussions, chat, virtual board, questionnaires, videos, case studies, breakout rooms, external tools (Mentimeter, Miro, Funretro)
