    • Chinese „Code of Conduct” at work – chosen rituals and ceremonies 
    • Role of the boss, role of the employee, making decisions – how are they understood, how this understanding impacts cooperation with the Chinese? 
    • Western types and styles of negotiation vs. Chinese business etiquette – what can come across as difficult to understand

    Cooperation and communication with the Chinese

    • Western linear language vs. Eastern contextual language 
    • – low vs high context messages 
    • When Chinese YES means NO? Why don’t we understand each other even though we all speak English?

    • in the approach to a contract/agreement 
    • How to make a good first impression on a Chinese partner?
